The Village Health Club & Spas- Ocotillo, Chandler, AZ

The Village Health Club & Spas- Ocotillo occupies a prime lakeside location at the southwest corner of Alma School and Ocotillo roads in Chandler, AZ.

Each of their four locations offers members spacious cardio and weight rooms, an on-site spa and salon, hundreds of group fitness classes, basketball, squash, social events, and more.

Design a modern, luxurious, functional training space, so members can crush their fitness goals, the club can expand their personal training offerings, increase revenue and attract more prospective members.

The Village- Ocotillo sought to add value to their club, personal training services and attract the next generation of Village members by designing a functional training space to wow members & prospective members, host small group & 1-on-1 personal training, strength training workshops, and film social media content.

The space needed to feel open, modern and engaging, blending seamless with The Village’s brand and mission.

Additionally, the equipment had to align with The Village’s high-end membership base and personal training systems. The layout and equipment were inspired by Nike Studios.

To achieve The Village- Ocotillo’s vision, we designed a functional training space with custom strength bays incorporating custom branding plates, built-in double bar storage for bumper plates & medicine balls, flat shelves for dumbbells, kettlebells and Powerbags, adjustable storage pegs for bands & jump ropes, extra-wide storage pegs for change plates, endless rope pull, wall ball target, stainless steel pull-up bar, swivel anchor D-Rings for heavy bags & suspension training, landmine attachments for barbell attachments points, mat storage, adjustable D-Rings for band attachment points and attachment points for battle ropes, bands or grapplers.

We took personalization further by designing and manufacturing the 8-sided urethane dumbbells, bumper plates, rubber-coated kettlebells, and turf incorporating The Village’s logo, signature fonts and colors directly onto the equipment & flooring for a seamless brand experience.

Village orange, black and white tones were emphasized throughout the functional training space to complement The Village’s prestigious brand, creating a cohesive and engaging atmosphere.

The result is a modern, luxurious, functional training space that offers a balance between elegance and functionality. With expansive views of their prime lakeside location, the new space provides members with a luxury fitness studio experience, in a high-end, athletic country club setting, enhancing the club’s overall appeal.

The custom equipment not only meets The Village’s high-end design standards but also reinforces their brand identity, offering members a truly bespoke fitness environment in line with the club's beautiful surrounds.
